- Website Maintenance Intern
Job Description: EcoLogic seeks a web-savvy editor/designer to assist the Communications Department in updating and maintaining EcoLogic's website and electronic newsletter.
Scope of work: The website intern performs updates of EcoLogic’s website including updating text, images and photographs, fixing broken links, and freshening up the look and feel. S/he may also assist with preparation of the monthly electronic newsletter, and prepare drafts of written content for the website and e-newsletter (depending on experience, interest, and ability). S/he also works on maintaining the photos and galleries on EcoLogic’s photo website and internal server. This is a rotating position and applicants are welcome at any time.

Job Description: EcoLogic seeks a third or fourth year undergraduate student or graduate student to support its communications department in writing and creating original materials, publications and campaigns.
Scope of work: The Communications Officer looks to the Communications Intern for help researching specific subject matter related to our areas of specialization, and drafting original content for online and print publications and media outlets. Depending on one's experience, interest and ability, this intern will also be given the responsibility to develop and create specific communications campaigns on issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the land rights of indigenous peoples. Job Description: The intern will assist the Program Officer for Online Giving with social media research.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will research and report on active social media outlets, their usefulness, current user demographics, etc. He/She will be given the responsibility and discretion to judge whether or not the outlet will be useful in expanding EcoLogic’s mission and profile while using the sites to gain sufficient knowledge of their interface and ease of use. The intern will be expected to a draft copy for EcoLogic’s current social media outlets, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube video descriptions and run reports related to activities. The intern will occasionally assist with additional office projects during periods of peak activity.
