EcoLogic's logo is emblematic of our approach to conservation: people focused. The image captures both the primacy of trees to our mission and the primal human connection to nature. It also celebrates the belief that successful conservation integrates human needs and talents. The concept was the brainchild of a conversation between founder Shaun Paul and graphic designer Richard Dowzal.

The preponderance of images on our website is the work of professional photographer Todd Shapera, who has generously donated his talent to EcoLogic since 2005. Todd's eye for capturing the natural beauty in persons and surroundings makes him the perfect artist to document the precious landscapes and cultural heritage EcoLogic works to preserve. His images on the site include the banner photos on the Who We Are, Why We Do It, News & Media, and Get Involved sections; the image on our Get Involved button; Diana Soto's testimonial photo; and several entries in the Belize, Honduras, and Postcards image galleries.
