EcoLogic's 15th Anniversary Celebration
On November 13, 2008, a rich cultural celebration was held at the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to celebrate EcoLogic’s 15 years of work with rural communities to steward the vibrant environmental and cultural legacies of Latin America. The 150 guests who attended were privileged to explore the Mesoamerican exhibits and view the special Día de los Muertos altars. While surveying the array of unique items for the silent auction, guests partook of select wines, tasty hors d'oeuvres and great conversations. The evening was filled with the sounds of Latin Jazz, the remarks of guest speaker Bruce Gellerman, and inspiring presentations of EcoLogic’s impact. EcoLogic was able to raise over $25,000 and discovered 35 new supporters among those who attended.
Thank you to all who made this evening a success! A special thanks to the Peabody Museum, Crimson Catering, Classic Communications, La Timbistica, Bruce Gellerman, Faxon Green Eco-Elegant Design, Trillium Asset Management, Component Sourcing International, Apex Green Roofs, Elevate Destinations, EcoLogic staff and volunteers, the Host Committee and Board Members, and the many businesses who donated items for our auction.
