CarbonPlus Program: Advisory Services

The list of services we provide is below. We have the capability of providing services from beginning feasibility assessment and training to ending verification and credit sale.

  1. GHG inventory - CarbonPlus will offer full life-cycle inventories of greenhouse gas emissions from wood harvesting, transporting, and processing activities in accordance with ISO 14064-1 standard and World Resources Institute Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
  2. Training Assistance - CarbonPlus will offer carbon literacy workshops and seminars to share technical knowledge required for initial project design.
  3. Technical Assistance – CarbonPlus provides technical assistance for project proponets to develop legitimate credits via third-party auditing to widely accepted standards such as climate action reserve (CAR), Climate, Community, and Biodiversity (CCB), and Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS).
    • Rapid Feasibility Assessments to evaluate potential projects that offers partners and clients a Project Information Note (PIN). Carbon credits will be determined by disturbance history, forest developmental stage, forest type, management regime, and site quality.
    • Preparation of Project Design Documents for validation, including services related to imagery, forest carbon inventories, and forest carbon modeling.
    • Validation Assistance that includes preparing for and undergoing an audit and registering carbon projects under CAR or VCS standards.
    • Carbon Stock Measurement, Modeling, and Reporting for Verification (MRV) to enable the issuance of credits for sale.
  4. Capacity Building Assistance – CarbonPlus can assist project proponents to create effective mechanisms for information exchange and conflict mitigation to gain free, prior, and informed consent from stakeholders including local communities and indigenous groups.
